Private Pilot License (PPL)

Private pilot certificate offers the most privileges of any initial pilot certificate, and puts few restrictions on where and what you can fly.

A minimum of 40 flight hours and an FAA medical certificate are required.

Instrument Rating (IR)

Learn how to fly in the clouds using aircraft instruments, in addition to your CPL.

It improves your skills and increases the value of your certificate, and it is required for the ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) Certificate.

When you complete your Instrument Rating training, your IR/SE qualification will be added to your FAA Private Pilot License.

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE

The Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training is typically one of the final steps toward becoming a professional pilot. The CPL is a qualification that allows the holder to act as the pilot in command of an aircraft for pay or hire, or to find work as a pilot.

CERTIFIED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR - INSTRUMENT (CFII)

CFIIs are responsible for teaching pilots how to fly in instrument conditions as well as ensuring that instrument rated pilots maintain their proficiency.

 

 

Instrument proficiency check (IPC)

IPC is a full review of knowledge and procedures needed to safely fly an aircraft on an instrument flight plan flown under actual or simulated conditions.

 

 

BIennial flight review (BFR)

A BFR is a review required of every active holder of a U.S. pilot certificate at least every 24 calendar months.

 

 

Mountain Flight Training
