COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE - CPL

The Commercial Pilot Certificate consolidates skills learned during private pilot and instrument training and allows an aviator to fly passengers or cargo for hire. As a commercial pilot, you gain a deeper understanding of a wide range of topics, including aerodynamics, aircraft performance, aircraft envelope control, and human factors. You will also gain a much better understanding of the regulatory framework that governs our profession as pilots. You will improve your knowledge and skills to those of professional pilot standards.

Steps To Become A Commercial Pilot

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS

You must pass the basic medical exam, be at least 18 years old, be a US Citizen or hold a valid Visa to US. You must be able to read, speak and understand English.

COMPLETE GROUND TRAINING

Your ground training will cover a variety of topics in order to prepare you for flight training. After finishing your ground school, you must pass the FAA written exam.

COMPLETE FLIGHT TRAINING

The FAA requires total of 250 hours in an airplane.

PASS THE CHECKRIDE

When your CFI feels you are ready, they will sign off and arrange your final checkride with an FAA examiner. You will become an official commercial pilot after passing your checkride.

Based on their career path, some pilots may find the Commercial Single-Engine Land course to be a logical next step.

The course is flown in a single-engine Cessna 172 TAA (Technologically Advanced Aircraft).

You will learn additional maximum performance maneuvers, such as the chandelle, lazy-8, and eights-on-pylons, in addition to the maneuvers you learned while earning your private pilot certificate and instrument rating.

This training will improve your precision, coordination, planning, orientation, and overall control smoothness.

Private Pilot Course

PPL is a qualification that allows the holder to fly on single-engine land (SEL) aircraft in visual meteorological conditions (VMC) as pilot-in-command (PIC) or co-pilot on aircraft in non-commercial operations without remuneration.

Instrument Rating

You will learn how to fly by instruments only, as well as learn instrument approach procedures and departures. You will also develop a deeper level of understanding on weather and Air Traffic Control communications, aircraft control, and aeronautical decision making.
