What to Expect
Your Discovery Flight Experience
Here's what a typical discovery flight looks like from start to finish.
15 Minute Ground Instruction
Your instructor will introduce the basics of what pilots do before each flight and answer any questions you might have.
35 or 70 Minute Flight
You will get to experience everything from the hot seat with an expert instructor next to you.
20 Minute Debriefing
An open setting to provide feedback and address any questions you may have about the flight experience.

Everything You Need to Know
The minimum age requirement is 3 years and older.
This experience is not suitable for individuals with mental illness, heart disease, high-blood pressure, pregnant women, or fear of heights.
Flight schedule is from 9AM until 5PM. Night flight times vary between summer and winter. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Being late by 30 minutes or more may result in cancellation and forfeited deposit.

Three (3) people can join, however only one co-pilot can be designated.

Yes! Under the guidance and supervision of our professional flight instructors, you can take the controls and experience what it's like to fly.
Discovery Flights may be cancelled 3 days before with a 15% penalty. Less than 24-hours notice: 50% no-show/reschedule/cancellation fee.
Our Cessna 172 is recognized as one of the safest aircraft in the world. Our instructors have abundant flight experience and prioritize safety above all else.

All flights are subject to weather conditions and aircraft availability. Cloud Aviation reserves the right to reschedule or cancel flights due to safety concerns, maintenance, or adverse weather. Passengers must comply with all safety instructions provided by the flight instructor. Discovery flights are not flight training and do not count toward any FAA certification requirements.
Cancellation Policy
Discovery Flights may be cancelled 3 days before the scheduled flight with a 15% penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled flight are subject to a 50% no-show/reschedule/cancellation fee. No-shows will be charged the full amount. Weather-related cancellations by Cloud Aviation will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
